An intense race weekend, extreme temperatures and two podium finishes: BASINOL® celebrated a successful start to the season at Spa-Francorchamps together with brand ambassador Kevin Rohrscheidt and Paddock Motorsport.
From 25 to 27 June 2026, Kevin Rohrscheidt competed with the McLaren Artura Trophy EVO at one of Europe’s most iconic race circuits. Together with teammate Maxi Tarillion, he raced for British team Paddock Motorsport in the PRO-AM category.
The conditions in Spa provided an additional challenge for drivers, cars and technical components. With temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius at times, engines, components and lubricants were pushed hard throughout the weekend.
Despite the demanding conditions, the team delivered strong results in both races, securing second and third place in the PRO-AM category and therefore two podium finishes.
Motorsport as a Real-World Test for BASINOL®

Another highlight of the weekend was the McLaren Trophy parade from the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps into the city centre of Spa, giving fans the opportunity to experience the cars, drivers and teams up close.
With two podium finishes, BASINOL® has made a successful start to the 2026 McLaren Trophy Europe season. The next race weekend will take place in Barcelona at the beginning of October.
